 Loren R. Bailey's journey in the trucking industry began in 1973 when he joined Willis Shaw Express in Elm Springs, Arkansas. After six years of gaining valuable experience, Loren took a leap and launched his own trucking business in Springdale, Arkansas, with 25 trucks and 30 refrigerated trailers. His company mainly hauled Tyson Foods processed chicken and produce, servicing Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. He also partnered in Heritage Enterprises Inc., a truck brokerage, where he managed a fleet of 600 trucks across the 48 states from 1980 to 1982.

In 1982, Loren's career took another turn when he joined J.B. Hunt Transport in Lowell, Arkansas, as a Fleet Manager. At the time, J.B. Hunt had just 182 trucks and was focused on rapid growth. Over the years, Loren's role expanded, and he took on several key positions, including Fuel Coordinator, High Risk Cargo Manager, Director of Automotive Operations (during which he earned the prestigious Carrier of the Year Award from Ford Motor Company), Louisville Terminal Manager, and finally, Director of Fuel Risk Management. He worked there until 1992.

Despite a successful 10-year career with J.B. Hunt, Loren still felt the urge to run his own business. In 1992, he founded Professional Energy Consulting Services, Inc. (PECS, Inc.), later rebranded as Fuel Manager Services, Inc. in 2008 to reflect the company's core service focus. Loren’s vision was to create a company that was efficient, honest, and trusted by the trucking industry, fuel vendors, hardworking drivers, and customers alike. After 33 years, Loren reflects, "It’s truly an honor to do something you love to do every day."

Hobbies & Passions
Outside of work, Loren is a dedicated volunteer, having coached AAU, MAYB, and NCAA certified girls' basketball teams for 12 years, with a proud 315-48 win/loss record. He is also passionate about music, having played guitar and sung for many years. He's a (2 time) current member of the NW Arkansas Musician Hall of Fame. In recent years, he has taken up road biking, a hobby he's enjoyed for nearly a decade.
