Loren R. Bailey started his career in the trucking industry in 1973 with Willis Shaw Express, Elm Springs, AR. After 6-years (1979) with Willis Shaw Loren received an opportunity to own his own 25 truck trucking company in Springdale, AR. The company primarily hauled with Tyson Foods processed chicken outbound and produce back to the Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
In 1982, another opportunity came his way with an offer to work for J.B. Hunt Transport, Lowell, AR as a Fleet Manager. At the time, J.B. Hunt had 182 trucks and their mission was to grow quickly and they indeed grew. Loren worked for J.B. After 10-years with J.B. Hunt, Loren still had the passion to run his own business so he decided to make the leap of faith. The new company was incorporated as, Professional Energy Consulting Service Inc. DBA PECS, Inc. In 2008, the decision was made to change the name to Fuel Manager Services, Inc. which emphasized our primary service.
"My mission in 1992 was to operate a company that was very efficient, and honest that would be looked upon with the highest level of trust from the trucking industry, the hard working drivers and our customers. After 29-years it's truly an honor to get to do something you love to do daily"
